The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is truly one of the most exciting sales of the year – especially for me! This will be my 6th year shopping it, and over the years, I’ve learned so much. I now have a solid understanding of what’s truly worth grabbing, what can wait, and which items just aren’t necessary. Think of this post as your ultimate guide to navigating the sale with confidence.
Before we dive in, I want to remind you: if you’re not shopping the sale, that’s perfectly okay. There’s no pressure to buy things you don’t need. And if you are shopping, remember – you don’t need everything. I’ll be sharing a curated selection of pieces, styling them multiple ways, and highlighting their versatility so you can make informed decisions. My goal is to be your go-to resource for choosing pieces that are timeless, high quality, and wearable for years to come.
A little background in case you’re new to it: the Anniversary Sale originally began as a way for Nordstrom to give their cardholders early access to brand-new fall and winter arrivals – at a discounted price. Unlike traditional sales that happen at the end of a season, this one gives you a chance to shop ahead of the season, before prices go back up. It’s a great opportunity to invest in wardrobe staples at a lower price point.
WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
While the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins with early access for Nordstrom cardholders, it eventually opens up to everyone. Access is tiered based on how much you spend with Nordstrom throughout the year – those in the highest tiers shop first. If you have a Nordstrom card, you can check your access level here to see when you’re eligible to start shopping.

JUNE 26th at noon ET Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview
JULY 8th Early Access for cardholders with Icon status
JULY 9th Early Access for cardholders with Ambassador status
JULY 10th Early Access for cardholders with Influencer status (This date is for anyone with a Nordstrom Card)! This date is when items tend to sell out quickly since more people are shopping. I do not condone signing up for credit cards if you cannot pay the balance off entirely every month. However, for me it made sense to have the card so I could shop this sale earlier and get other great perks with Nordstrom. JULY 12th Anniversary Sale opens to the general public!
AUGUST 3rd Last day to shop!
On June 26th the preview look book will be released. This is a sneak peek of all the items that are included in the sale. I highly recommend creating a free Nordstrom rewards account, which allows you to create wishlists for items you are eyeing. Having this account will also make your checkout process easier as you will want to grab your must have items quickly before they sell out.
